June 22-25 Elite GOALKEEPER Camp Check In Details
Date Posted: 6/14/2026
Thank you for registering for the Wingate International Soccer Academy Elite Goalkeeper Camp. We are excited to welcome your goalkeeper to campus for an intensive week of training, development, competition, and fun. Our goal is to provide a professional training environment where goalkeepers can improve their technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game while creating unforgettable memories with fellow goalkeepers from around the region.
Every goalkeeper will receive an official WISA Elite GK training top in our signature lime color to wear throughout the week. For picture and video purposes, we highly recommend that goalkeepers wear black shorts and black socks during training sessions to create a professional and consistent look across the camp. This is simply a preference and not a requirement. If black shorts or socks are not available, goalkeepers are welcome to wear whatever training gear they are most comfortable in. Additional training tops will be available for purchase for families interested in having an extra shirt for camp.
Check in will begin at 8:30am on Monday at the Wingate Soccer Complex Stadium. Use the address for your GPS- 315 E Wilson St. Wingate, NC 28174 Parking for families is available at Pride Park Soccer Stadium. We kindly ask families to use the designated player and family parking areas, as parking near the Soccer Fieldhouse is limited. From the parking lot, families can walk around the stadium fence to access the front entrance of the Soccer Fieldhouse for check-in and daily camp activities.
Goalkeepers should arrive each day dressed and ready to train. Please bring:
Goalkeeper gloves (recommended to bring more than one pair)
Soccer cleats and athletic shoes
Goalkeeper training apparel suitable for competitive training sessions
Water bottle
Small snack for breaks
Swim suit and towel for pool (will do recovery sessions)
Flip-flops
Please make sure all personal items are clearly labeled with player's name
This camp is designed specifically for goalkeepers and includes high-intensity training sessions. We encourage all participants to dress appropriately and come prepared to work hard in a competitive environment.
Training activities begin each morning at 9:00 AM.
Goalkeepers will participate in multiple daily training sessions, classroom learning opportunities, and recovery activities throughout the week.
Two days prior to camp, Goalkeeper Director Coach Pablo Jara will email all registered families with the complete camp schedule, including training times, field locations, classroom sessions, and pool recovery periods. This schedule will allow parents to know exactly where their goalkeeper will be throughout the day and what activities are taking place during the event.
Parents and family members are always welcome to attend camp sessions. We encourage families to watch training, take photos, and record videos from the designated parent viewing areas throughout the week.
Lunch is provided Monday through Wednesday in the Wingate University cafeteria. Water and sports drinks will be available throughout the day to ensure all goalkeepers remain hydrated and ready to perform.
Our final day on Thursday includes goalkeeper competitions, fun challenges, prizes, and a camp closing celebration. Please note that lunch is not provided on Thursday, and player pick-up will take place between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM.
Thank you for trusting us with your goalkeeper's development. We are honored to be part of their journey and look forward to welcoming your family to Wingate University for an exciting week of elite goalkeeper training.
