Men's Showcase Check In Info Extended GK & Fieldplayers

We are looking forward to having you on campus. Please take a moment to read over the information below.
There are several different forms, please make sure that you complete all that apply to you. (All players MUST PRINT & Complete the Medical Wavier form. WE NEED THE HARD COPY!! All players should complete the Player Profile Form- link below)
Extended Goalkeeper Check In
Check In for the showcase will run from 1pm – 4pm on July 11th for the extended GK program and will be conducted in the J.M. Smith dorm. Physical address of the dorm is 224 Cedar Street, Wingate, NC 28174. Signs are placed around campus directing you to the dorm. Please leave your luggage in the car when you are checking in. We will then provide you with the easiest route to your room. (There are STAIRS) Players and Families are responsible for their own lunch on day of goalkeeper check in.
Fieldplayer Showcase Check In
Showcase Check in will run from 9am-11:30am on July 14th and will be conducted in the Batte Center. This building is located at 403 N. Camden Road, Wingate, NC 28174 Signs are placed around campus directing you to the location. Please leave your luggage in the car when you are checking in. We will then provide you with the easiest route to your room. (There are STAIRS!!!)
1- 2019 Lunch on Check in Day for families of Fieldplayers JULY 14th.
Lunch for the players on check in day July 14th is 11:30-12:30. Parents are welcome to join for lunch- however you need to RSVP with the number in your party- NOT INCLUDING your player. Lunch is $10.00 per person, we can process CC, Cash and checks upon check in. Use this LUNCH RSVP FORM. Feel free to stay and attend the Camp meeting and College Coach Q & A at 1:30 in the Batte Center.
2- Flight Information and WISA Airport Shuttle Service- IMPORTANT
If you are flying in and NEED WISA Airport SHUTTLE service, please fill out the form using this link to give us your flight information. Within two days of your check in, you will receive an email from us with info on which staff member is picking you up at airport along with all important phone numbers!
If you have NOT signed up and paid for the shuttle service, even one way shuttle service, please do so asap by logging into your account at www.wingatesoccer.com If a parent is also flying in and needing shuttle service, please make sure sign up for TWO shuttle services. Shuttle service is $60 round trip and must be paid prior to the check in day
3- Checking In or Out of Camp Early (ie, a different time than what is posted for your camp)
If you are checking in or out of camp at a different time than what is posted, please complete this form CHECK IN/OUT ADJUSTMENT CLICK HERE EVEN IF YOU HAVE SENT US AN EMAIL- complete this form if you are checking in or out at a different day or time!
4- Medical Waivers (required of all players)
All players must bring the medical release form with them EVEN IF they have already emailed it or faxed it in. Electronic copies are not accepted. You will not be able to participate without filling one out. You can download a MEDICAL FORM . If the link does not work , go to www.wingatesoccer.com then on the top left go to MORE, Files & Forms and click on the Medical Release form in the center of the page.
5- Player Profiles (required of all players)
Players please take the time to complete the WISA Player Profile form with the most up to date informaiton about yourself (even if you completed info during camp registration). We strongly encourage THE PLAYER complete this information (Parents, please allow your child the opportunity to answer these questions!) This information will be distributed to all college coaches in attendance. Make sure you provide CURRENT and CORRECT info! Watch for typo's in your email address! 6- Account Balances
In an effort to expedite check in, all account balances should be paid prior to check in. You can log back into your account at www.wingatesoccer.com. If you have any questions about a balance please email Amy at firstname.lastname@example.org If you signed up AFTER the preselected auto draft dates, you MUST make manual payment.
7- What to Pack and Bring
Suggested Items to bring with you to camp. *If you are flying in you will not be required to provide bedding sheets, pillows or a blanket – we will have this for you.
10 sets of shorts and playing shirts 1 warm-up (optional) Sun screen & mosquito repellent 10 pairs of soccer socks
10 pairs of underwear water bottle or cooler 2 bathing suits shin guards rain jacket
1 pillow/pillow case (unless you are flying in) 1 set of twin bed sheets & blanket or sleeping bag Toothpaste, soap, & shampoo
Spending Money for pizza, drinks, & snacks (you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks however there is no refridgerator in dorm rooms)
Keep in mind we have washers and dryers that are free of charge to use. We will have laundry detergent for purchase or feel free to bring your own! We recommend the pods.
8- Parent Accommodations
Parents that have booked WISA housing accommodations for the week will also be provided bedding linens, pillows and sheets. A meal plan is included with the parent accommodation. All keys and apartment information will be provided to you upon check in. You will receive an email from us two days proior to check in with confirmation of your reservation and other details. If you have NOT received this by that time, please email Amy at email@example.com
IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON MORE THAN ONE PARENT or SIBLING(S) staying in our parent accommodations you MUST LET US KNOW ASAP. There is an additional fee.
**We still have space available if any parents wish to stay.
9- Snacks etc
We have a small concession area set up in the lobby of the dorm. Gatorade, Water, SunChips, etc are available for purchase. We also offer pizza/sub deliveries later in the evenings. Pizzas are $12 and require the players to sign earlier in the day for them. The concession stand accepts CC or Cash- we do not set up charge accounts. Dorm Rooms do not have refrigerators….
10- Medical Staff
All WISA Residential Camps have a certified athletic trainer on staff 24 hours per-day. The coaching staff and medical staff monitor every injury - however minor the injury might be. Even so, some players love camp so much they attempt to “hide” injuries so that they may continue to play. Parents are seldom fooled. If you gain any indication from a visit or a telephone call that your child is more injured or ill then they appear, please call or text Amy ASAP.
11- Parents are Welcome
We feel that it is important that parents are involved in their child’s camp experience. To this end, we would like to extend an invitation for you to attend any number of events during the week. Parents, however, are not allowed to access player dorms without notifiying staff except during check in. During check out parents will NOT be allowed beyond the lobby of the dorm. Parents needing to contact someone during the day, please feel free to call Amy 704-577-2898.
12- Check out Information (this information will be emailed out again as well as being posted in the dorm)
Check out will begin on the last day (Thursday July 18th) at approximately 11:00 at JM Smith dorm.
During the check out process PARENTS will NOT be permitted down the dorm hallways. Parents can wait for/meet their player in the lounge area on the 1st floor- do not block the entry lobby area and check out desks!!!!
All players should put the furniture back in place as it was on the day of check in.
All trash should be collected and put in trash bag and placed outside of the dorm room door. (Staff has trash bags!)
Players with WISA Camp linens-please bundle and place outside your doom door.
Please check all dresser drawers and armoire for personal items.
A WISA Staff member MUST check your room and give you an ORANGE ticket once you are packed up. Staff members will be placed throughout halls to check rooms. You cannot check out until you have the ORANGE ticket!!!
Check out in the lobby of JM Smith dorm, Turn in the room key and meal card. Keep the lanyard!
